Dawson Music Education Group Music Lessons • Group Lesson One: World Journeys in Music Literature • Group Lesson Two: Confident Performance Master Class • Group Lesson Three: Problem Solving and Structural Models - A strategy for student/parent partnership These group lessons are designed to: • Give a young musician knowledge of music literature and enhance their appreciation of cultural diversity • Provide performance opportunities for a young musician and introduce them to the “master class” lesson environment • Develop problem solving strategies that are flexible and playful for the young student and their parents • Create structural models designed to improve a student’s study habits, accountability, and self sufficiency • Consistent personal attention by limiting class size to six students World Journeys in Music Literature This class takes the student on an inspirational journey by listening to the world’s greatest music. This interactive ninety minute class introduces extraordinary music and details of recognized composers/performance artists from every corner of the world. This class includes a special guest concert performance. Confident Performance Master Class This two hour class gives the student an opportunity to perform a musical work and learn how to have fun while performing in front of an audience. Individual “master class” coaching will unlock confidence and musicianship. This class includes a special guest concert performance. Structures and Problem Solving Music introduces the art and science of problem solving and provides structural creativity in a student’s academic life and enhances their personal development. This two hour class introduces creative problem solving without fear of error and gives powerful structural planning models that transform their view of learning.
